Project Goal:
Reduced suffering, maintained human dignity and lives saved among conflict‐affected Rohingya refugees, particularly women and girls with children under‐5, girls and boys, elderly and persons with special needs (PSNs) in Cox’s Bazar District, Bangladesh.
Project Description:
The achievements of the current CEARR project and learning from its implementation inform the design of the proposed project. This project will provide site improvements, shelter kits, partition in the shelter, shelter upgrade assistance, hygiene Non‐FoodItems (NFI), and protection activities for the Persons Of Concern (POC)inJamtoli and adjacent refugee camps targeting the most vulnerable: women and girls with U5 children, girls and boys, elderly and persons with special needs (PSNs) and vulnerable women and girls from host the community as shown in the table above. The main project activities listed above will address and prevent the incidence of SGBV among women and girls. In addition, the project will enhance knowledge,accesstoSGBV referral services, and participation in community decision‐making.
